Fronds of palm
striking the window
so hard with their arms
The heaviness of thumping
now reaching its crescendo
-the autumn’s sudden storm

These are the gifts of the wild
in my prayer that was entailing
the hidden agonies of that child
reverberating emotions wailing

The next morning after the storm
the ground is finely adorned with
fallen gems in color transformed

The calmness and the myths of
the aftermath are metaphors
for hidden seeds for true love
as that child is settled afore

While the storms rage
felines stay alert yet
calm, and engaged
in the silhouette

mirroring their
love within
-knowing

There are many metaphors around us. I often reflect and contemplate our daily phenomena for a deeper understanding of their backgrounds. We, humans, are now so limited, but animals with free senses of the wild know the heart of our beings much better. For this, I adore and trust them very much.
